E' un membro della famiglia Cookie ed è stata creata incrociando Sunset Sherbet con Thin Mint GSC. I risultati sono stati una varietà perfettamente adatta ai coltivatori principianti che fiorisce con sfumature viola e verdi. Il sapore e i profili terpenici sono stati migliorati, rendendo la Gelato Feminized una delle varietà dal sapore migliore sul mercato, con un livello di THC superiore al 20%.
Indoor
Gelato raggiunge un'altezza media e si aggira intorno ai 120-150 cm (47-60 pollici) in indoor. Consigliamo di formare le piante per massimizzare la resa di questa pianta. Il profilo terpenico è molto pungente, ma ha un sapore terroso, speziato, di pasta biscotto dolce con forti sfumature di agrumi. Una varietà facile da tagliare, che ricompenserà ogni coltivatore con sacchi di zucchero di prima qualità, che possono essere usati per fare hashish in acqua, per setacciare a secco o per l'estrazione.

Gelato è una varietà resistente che sopporta bene il freddo e lo stress termico. Le cime possono diventare molto grosse e dense durante le ultime 3 settimane di fioritura, quindi vi consigliamo di tenere d'occhio le muffe e di assicurarvi che ci sia sempre molta aria fresca intorno alle piante.

Il tempo di fioritura è di 8-10 settimane, il che la rende un ibrido a fioritura rapida, perfetto per i coltivatori commerciali e per i coltivatori principianti. Una volta fiorita, i suoi pistilli si svilupperanno in un colore arancione brillante, mentre circondano le cime scintillanti e impregnate di resina che iniziano a sviluppare una tonalità viola e magenta.

Altezza della pianta & struttura
Rimarrà di media altezza e crescerà con una spaziatura internodale corta, che in seguito si impilerà con cime delle dimensioni di una pallina da golf. Ci sarà una gemma centrale principale, più alta, circondata da rami laterali corti e grassi. Si consiglia di applicare la formazione e di mantenere la fase vegetativa più a lungo, per ottenere le piante più grandi possibili.
Training
Gelato reagisce molto bene all'essere legato, permettendo alla luce di entrare nella calotta. Si consiglia inoltre di potare il fogliame inferiore delle piante, una settimana prima della fioritura, per far crescere le cime più grandi e concentrarsi sulla chioma superiore.
Odore, gusto ed effetto
Questa cultivar è più adatta ai fumatori con un'alta tolleranza, poiché i suoi potenti effetti possono talvolta essere eccessivi per alcuni. Gli effetti fisici sono molto forti, con un tocco narcotico che può portare a un pesante stato onirico. Chi ha una maggiore tolleranza potrà godere dei suoi effetti fisici mescolati a una mente creativa e concentrata.

I’ve ordered my seeds for many different companies over the past decade. I always go to Nirvana a couple times a year. The quality of their seeds is top shelf. The ordering process always goes very smooth and if I have any questions, I just send an email and I get a response back almost immediately. I ordered four different strains this time biscotti gelato, cookies and cream and Sunset sherbet. I am anxious to try them all. I will write more reviews once I get the seeds and get them germinated. Nirvana tried twice, but ultimately the seeds were confiscated by customs first and the US Postal service the second time.
Amazed... Gelato did will in ground in 2024.. huge rock solid buds... One turned purple... Cured & does hav the Gelato taste when it hits your palate.... Good stoned feeling..

Growth spurt... I'm a regular at Nirvana seeds, so I've grown quite a bit of their strains,all awesome genetics.... But gelato growing great....

I just cut down my second Gelato grow. The first one I let grow tall and that was a mistake. I have a 4x4'x7' shed, lined with Mylar, white floor, 3 huge mirrors with state of the art lights and variable exhaust fan. Two small Tornado fans, one on the floor and one above the girls. This time I used a net, lollipopped them and the lower branches flowers grew about 3-4" the cola on the end was avg 8'. I used FF with 15% perlite Adv Nutes Sensi for veg and Adv Notes Connoseir for flower B52, Bud Candy, Big Bud & Overdrive.
RO water, skip day, Feed skip day, water skip a day. 4 weeks veg and 6 weeks Flower. Are like crazy. GOT RED MITES UGH. Released a bag full of Lady Bugs and they ate all the Mites!!! Gone Harvested 4 OZ per plant. Let cure month and is smooth and potent. PERFECTO
Perfect strength and taste. Pain and PTSD softened.
They grow tall unless you used a net. 4'x4' grow room and Advanced Nutes yields 8 oz. on two plants. 9"flowers.

Who doesn't like Gelato! This one might just end up your best tasting gelato ever, albeit the plant variety. The taste is definitely sweet and has that special treat appeal. Enjoy this one if you haven't already!

Grew both indoor and out. The plants take off like rockets on thick purple stalks. The flowers are enormous and the colors are exceptionally cool. The high is very strong, but I find it sort of stupifying. Best for nightime.
Was just starting when I did this strain and did not go well. Mostly my fault as a new self grower at the time. Really liked the one plant that made it but was definitely a plant you had to get to know. It seems like each one had its on personality. Recommend for experience growers.

Preparing to grow the rest of the gelato, one thing I’m very happy with is being able to store the seeds for a very long time before use with no germination issues. Gelato is one of my favorite strains to grow from nirvana, I will be getting more.

It was tougher to grow. Only had 1 purple of 4. But the 1 was amazing. Would like to try again.
Not the superweed I expected, after all the hype I've heard about, but definitely a strong strain, medium high yield. Lot of variation, I got 3 phenos, 8, 9, and 9 1/2 week flower times. 8 week pheno seems slightly prone to budrot, you have to check them daily near the end, partly my fault because first run was 9 week pheno, they caught me by surprise being finished at less than 60 days. Easy to clone and grow, medium height.
The indica genetics keep this one centered and growing proportionately , but supplies the sativa "buzz"

My first “single” plant grow… have always had at least two going in our tent. By far our best grow with Gelato feminized seed. They always produce, but this seed gave us 10oz indoors. LST and some topping. Was a thirsty girl her whole grow. Gorgeous dense buds, heavy crystal, delicious smell. Highly recommend.
Good germination, grows fast, kills ulcer pain and nausea.
