Growing

Her West Coast terpene power-house was created by crossing Chemdawg x Hindu Kush x Magic. The result is an average-sized plant with a flowering time between 7-9 weeks.

We wanted to keep the low profile, heavy resin, and powerful aromatic characteristics of the parents and produce a sturdy and resilient Kush hybrid. THC levels will range from 16-21% and, when blooming, will produce a heavy onset of resin that makes next-level extracts.

Indoor
When flowering, her aroma can become extremely pungent, so make sure you have your carbon filters working overtime. She will produce a dank fragrance, pine-sol, woody, lemon and earthy. Plants will tend to stay low during the vegetative stage, so we do advise giving her a longer growing phase to get the biggest plants possible.

Outdoor
It is best to plant OG Kush in a large-sized container such as 100 liters (22 gallons), or a high volume in a SOG such as 10 liters (2 gallons).

Fungal resistance

OG Kush is a tough plant that can endure colder nighttime temperatures. She may be the most productive plants in colder climates, but has a high resistance to mold and mildew.

Flowering time

Flowering time will take 7-9 weeks, making OG Kush a fast one, ideal for those who suffer from short summers. Those who experience hot weather can harvest mature plants after between 56-63 days of flowering.

Indoor
Some phenotypes will finish within 50 days, and the more productive phenotypes will be ready within 63 days of flower.

Under HID lighting, she performs very well, however dislikes to have large amounts of nutrients and will be very heavy on zinc and magnesium.

Outdoor
We recommend planting OG Kush seeds in spring time and allow them to grow for the full season. Plants can be harvested during October, depending on where you live.

Indoor
OG Kush is capable of producing yields of 400 g/m² (1.3 oz per square foot) when grown in a Sea of Green. To get the most of the OG Kush seeds, it is a good idea to let plants develop a large root base, unless you are growing in a SOG with a short vegetative time of 10 days.

Outdoor
It is possible to achieve 400 grams (14.1 oz per) plant outdoors with OG Kush Feminized.

Plant height & structure

She is one of our harder to grow strains, meaning that she is better suited for growers with previous experience. During the growing phase, OG Kush Feminized will grow with thin woody side branching, and small-sized fan leaves. Her height will remain low, and training her will increase yields further.

A great strain for growers who need a low profile and medium-sized plant. OG Kush will finish around 100-120 cm (31-39 inches) tall and have long side branches with large internodal spacing.

Training

We recommend letting the OG Kush grow for longer under 18/6 and to train her up using LST and Topping. This strain can be quite finicky and difficult to work with, so is best suited for growers with some experience.
