Nirvana Shop's roots can be traced back to the late 1980s and early 1990s. At this time the cannabis culture in Amsterdam was gaining immense momentum. Our founder, Mau, began his journey around that time with Positronic. Positronic Seeds was a Dutch cannabis seed bank that had the first grow shop in Amsterdam. Mau gained invaluable experience and botanical knowledge. This inspired him to start his own cannabis seed business.
Driven by his passion and curiosity, he began traveling around the world to find interesting and exceptional cannabis genetics. His journeys were followed with extensive testing and experiments with the different cannabis genetics he had collected during his travels. Countless cycles of cultivating, crossbreeding, and stabilizing formed the foundation of Nirvana Shop's first seeds. After years of refining his craft, it was time for Mau to share his own genetics with growers worldwide.

The mission we inherited from Mau is simple: "Provide growers worldwide with reliable, high-quality cannabis seeds they can trust for an affordable price." Our whole operation was started by one grower for all the growers around the world. We are committed to preserving the classics our founder created and refining genetics to continuously improve them. How we breed our seeds
Our seeds are bred using traditional breeding techniques. No genetic modifications or shortcuts are being used. For each seed we breed, we make sure the parent plants are stable and potent to ensure the performance and quality of our seeds.
When we are developing strains, we develop them over multiple generations to ensure we have the healthiest and most reliable plants for our breeding programs. Simply put, we treat our plants and seeds with love and care. You can rely on Nirvana seeds from seed to harvest!

Nirvana Shop was officially founded in 1995. Nirvana had grown from a small shop to a trusted seed bank worldwide. While the range of different strains has expanded over the years. The focus never changed: stable and potent genetics with the best service we could provide.
