About the Aurora Indica Autoflower
Aurora Indica Autoflower is a 90% indica dominant that is a real powerhouse when it comes to potency. She remains short and yields rock-hard buds, meaning an ideal choice for beginner growers with limited space looking for a fast flowering variety.
Fans of heavy hitting and low profile indica Cannabis plants, will really enjoy working with this cultivar.
With naturally high resilience levels and a strong repellent of insects, Aurora Indica Autoflower seeds are fantastic for outdoor growers and work superbly when grown in a Sea of Green.
Thanks to her super stable genetics, plants will grow uniform and homogenous, meaning she is easy to grow, requires little maintenance and is a heavy drinker of nutrients.
With THC levels testing at 17%, make sure you are comfortably sitting down with your feet up before rolling a joint or two of this lady! A cultivar that really packs a punch and will not disappoint those who want the strongest strains around, or medicinal quality Cannabis.
Growing
By crossing our Aurora Indica and Ruderalis together, Aurora Indica Autoflower inherited the tough resilience and growth structure of her parents.
This autoflowering hybrid will be able to take cold and wet weather, meaning she performs impressively in challenging climates. Due to the density of the biomass from her buds, be vigilant of mold late into the flowering stage.
Indoor
Thanks to her indica dominance, you can expect Aurora Indica Autoflower to grow with a low and squat profile. Not only does this strain do very well when grown closely together, she is also well recommended for growers with limited height. Aurora Indica Autoflower will grow with thick fingered fan leaves with very short intermodal spacing.
Outdoor
Aurora Indica Autoflower seeds will produce short and stocky plants, with short and thick fingered fan leaves. Plants will mature to a final height of 80-110 cm (31-43 inches), making her a medium-sized autoflowering indica, with golf ball buds forming at every internode.
Fungal resistance
Due to the density of the biomass from her buds, be vigilant of mold late into the flowering stage. During this time, we recommend using a dehumidifier to control the humidity levels. Aurora Indica seems to repel insects and can easily endure cold nighttime temperatures as well.
Flowering time
Indoor
Under HID lighting, flowering time will take between 8-9 weeks, depending on the different phenotypes. Plants grown in large-sized pots will usually require longer, with some needing a full 63 days. We advise keeping the plants under 12 or 18 hours of HID lighting for best results.
Outdoor
When planted outdoors in Spring, Aurora Indica Autoflowering seeds can be planted multiple times per year. Plants will require 56-63 days from seed to harvest, depending on the climate. We recommend planting outdoors from May until October time and harvesting 2-3 times.
Yield
Indoor
Yields of 500 g/m² (1.6 oz per square foot) can easily be achieved. Aurora Indica Autoflowering is a fast blooming, heavy feeder which thrives under intense lighting.
Outdoor
She can yield up to 100 grams (3.5 oz) per plant when grown outside in a South-facing location. For the ultimate yields, we advise planting in a SOG using smaller sized pots, such as 7.5-10 liter (2 gallons) and planting a high volume of seeds.
Plant height & structure
Aurora Indica Autoflower will grow squat, bushy, and uniform plants that require little maintenance, meaning this strain is best suited for Sea of Green setups in comparison to SCROG.
She will produce extremely compact, resin soaked golf ball sized nugs that can be described as spiced, dank, earthy and pungent. Be vigilant during the final weeks of flower production, as the super tight buds can be susceptible to mold, and make sure air flow around the buds is optimal.
Training
Internodal spacing will be very short, so pruning fan leaves or tying away when plants are in the first few weeks may be required. This allows more direct light into the lower canopy.
Smell, taste, and effect
The aroma that Aurora Indica Autoflower produces is a pungent, musky and spicy base with savory and herbal overtones. A smell that screams potency and one that can quickly fill a room with her over-powering ambience.
Her flavors are very bold and earthy, with overtones of pepper and mixed spices. This strain makes some top quality hash and extracts, where the flavors take on a whole new dimension of earthy, spice and floral.
Smoking Aurora Indica Autoflower will have an immediate effect, thanks to her full-blooded indica nature. Certainly, a couch locking strain, so recommended for evening use to avoid feeling sleepy all day.
Her effects will cause eyelids, arms, and legs to become heavy followed by an urge to eat. A good choice for chilling out at home with friends, taking it easy and making sure you don’t have anything urgent or important to do!
