Trainwreck will hit you like a high-speed train, and is a three-way hybrid made from Mexican, Thai, and Afghani genetics. This sativa dominant cerebral roller coaster offers spice, pine, lemon and herbal flavors with THC levels testing as high as 21%. Trainwreck seeds are easy to grow once you get her dialed in, and despite her sativa dominance can flower as quick as 8 weeks.

She is a big producer that can grow exceptionally tall, with long elongated, frosted buds that have a chunky spear shaped appearance. Mature plants can topple over from weight, making it look like a freight train just passed through the grow room!

Outdoors, Trainwreck plants can become enormous and will thrive in a hot climate, with exceptional resistance to mold and mildew.

Growing

Trainwreck Feminized will express her sativa dominance and grow very fast with a large open structure. An incredible strain for plant training, and an excellent candidate for Screen of Green setups. Stunning levels of resin and long thumb sized buds make this cultivar a winner on all fronts!

We do recommend her to growers with experience working with tall growing sativas, and those familiar with canopy control.

Indoor
When grown indoors, Trainwreck cannabis seeds will have a tendency to grow quicker than most plants. Thanks to her sativa genetics, internodal spacing will be large sized, allowing for plant training and a more open structure.

She is a light hungry plant that will require lots of room to fill out. Depending on phenotype, some plants will finish as fast as 56 days, with others requiring a full 70 days.

Outdoor
She is certainly better suited for hotter climates, and under the right conditions will become a giant plant. Expect Trainwreck plants to grow as tall as 450 cm (177 inches) outdoors, so you may need to get a ladder set up!

We strongly recommend this cultivar to growers living in a mountainous area, exposed to strong winds and high UV levels. Thanks to her resilience to pathogens and disease, she can be left with ease and will endure all challenging weather.

Fungal resistance

Thanks to her Mexican, Thai and Afghan parents, Trainwreck Feminized is very resistant to hot weather and high humidity. Cold nighttime temperatures do not phase her, and she can endure drought conditions.

Flowering time

Indoor
Depending on the phenotype, plants will require 56-70 days before being ready to harvest. The Afghani indica phenotypes will usually be fully mature at 8-8.5 weeks, with the Mexican and Thai phenotypes requiring a few weeks longer and going up to 10 weeks.

We advise you to use a microscope to check the trichomes before harvesting, to make sure you have the perfect harvest window.

Outdoor
It is best to plant Trainwreck seeds outdoors in April or May time, with a harvest date of early to mid-October. Very large-sized plants will require a full 70 days.

Yield

Indoor
Yields of up to 500 g/m² (1.6 oz per square foot) can be achieved indoors, when grown under HID lighting with nutrients.

Outdoor
When grown in a hot climate such as California or South Spain, yields of 700 grams (26.5 oz) per plant can be harvested, with very large-sized plants capable of producing even more.

Plant height & structure

Depending on the phenotype, some plants will display a shorter and stocky growth structure. Others will be much taller with wider side branching, and display long and thin branches.

On average, indoor plants may mature to grow 150-180 cm (59-70 inches) tall, whilst outdoors plants may well exceed that and hit 450 cm (177 inches).

Training

With training and longer vegetative times, increasing yields even further is possible, making this lady a good choice for commercial growers who want a fast-growing, sativa dominant hybrid in their life.

We recommend applying LST, Topping, using a screen and pruning before flowering the plants.
