About the Great White Shark Feminized
Anyone familiar with the White family will know that the Great White Shark is as deadly as she sounds. A cup winner from the 1990s that grows plastered from head to toe in white resin. This strain was in high demand during the 90ās in Amsterdam and Holland, and one that Dutch coffee shops would pride themselves on!
A three-way hybrid that produces epic harvests indoors and outdoors. She does not grow tall and is very too easy to train, making her a wise entry level cultivar for beginner growers who wish to experience an old school legend.
She will grow with an indica dominance and once flowered keeps a low profile. Great White Shark seeds react incredibly well to all types of training. She has the potential to take over your indoor grow space, so make sure you give the plants plenty of width to mature into.
Ā
Growing
A monster hybrid that was created after crossing together Super Skunk, Brazilian sativa and South Indian sativa. The result is an outstanding cultivar that is fast-growing, massive yielding and has exceptional resin production giving her buds a snow capped appearance. Flowering time will vary due to phenotypes, however there are some stunning plants that can be found.
Indoor
Great White Shark seeds will grow short plants that donāt stretch much, whilst pricing an abundance of side branches, that grow to a medium height and become stacked.
It is a good idea to add support before flowering starts as the bud development can cause side branches to fall over towards the end of 12/12. This cultivar is a well suited strain for anyone with limited growing space.
Outdoor
In a hot climate Great White Shark seeds can become enormous yielding plants. They have the ability to grow into stocky Christmas trees and once supported, donāt require much maintenance at all.
Anyone in demand of a low profile and discreet strain for greenhouses or a back garden will rest assured with this lady.
Ā
Fungal resistance
An old school strain that still has all the desirable traits to endure challenging weather. She is very resistant to hot temperatures and can handle drought conditions well. Even though her buds can become very thick, she does not get mold or mildew even in colder climates.
Ā
Flowering time
Indoor
Under HID lighting, flowering time will range from 56-70 days, depending on the phenotype, pot size, and amount of nutrients. The longer flowering plants will be more expressive of Great White Sharkās sativa lineage, meaning they need a full 10 weeks before harvesting.
Outdoor
We advise planting Great White Shark seeds at the end of May, with a harvest date of mid to late October in mind. Depending on the weather, flowering time will take 56-70 days, with smaller sized plants typically maturing earlier.
Ā
Yield
Indoor
Yields of 800 g/mĀ² (2,6 oz per square foot) can be achieved when grown under HID lighting indoors. With plant training and an extended vegetative period, her yields can be enhanced even greater.
Outdoor
If you need a solid performance that will deliver 1000 grams (35.5 oz) per plant in a hot climate, then Great White Shark seeds are all you need. Even in colder climates, you can expect superb results and an excellent quality of flower.
Ā
Plant height & structure
For sure an epic producer, she will only grow to a medium height of around 120 cm (47 inches). Her structure will be very bushy with heavy forming side branches that take up a lot of space.
Ā
Training
Great White Shark is one of the best strains around for plant training, as she handles whatever you throw at her. We advise tying plants after week 3 of the vegetative stage to really open the canopy for more lighting. Topping the main central growth tip will also allow plants to grow with an even and symmetrical canopy and reduce the stretch even further.

Smell, taste and effect
The aroma of a dried bud can be described as sharp, bold, pungent, skunky with earthy and sweet overtones. When you break a bud open, there is a citrus kick that gives the profile a potent smell and appeal.
When smoking a joint, the taste is a blend of citrus, earthy, fruity, floral with a pungent funk that is difficult to describe. The flavor lasts all the way down to the filter, and is a good choice for the pre-roll market.
Great White Shark has tested at 19% so is a potent variety, however has a clear and well-balanced effect. Feelings of joy, happiness, euphoria, and relaxation will soon kick in, allowing creativity and motivation to soar to a whole new level. We highly recommended this strain for gamers, artists, writers, graphic designers and anyone who enjoys getting stuck into a good book. An excellent morning until evening smoke, however be warned as she can keep you up all night long on a cerebral rollercoaster, so avoid smoking too late at night.
