Papaya Feminized
Papaya Feminized is a beautifully aromatic hybrid that is rich in an exotic sweet, fresh mango, peppery spices resembling Papaya fruit. A well-balanced indica and sativa hybrid with an effect that is perfect for daytime.
Papaya seeds are better suited for growers with experience, she will flower in 9-10 weeks and produce an abundance of chunky glistening buds, covered in bright orange pistils. Incredible cup winning quality fresh frozen bubble hash and dry sift can be produced by this lady.
Her flavors are the best thing about this lady, and those who love tropical, exotic fruity Cannabis will quickly make this their new favorite. A majestic lady who reveals her true beauty during blooming. THC levels will have tested at 18% making her a great choice for smokers with a low tolerance, and those searching for a daytime smoke. A low profile hybrid perfect for small indoor spaces, or large-scale Sea of Green set-ups.
Growing
This exotic fruity hybrid is created by crossing Citral x Ice. We were able to create an equally balanced hybrid with an enhanced terpene profile. Also maintaining the plant’s resistance, meaning she performs very well outdoors in all climates. Papaya seeds may be more challenging to grow than either of her parents, and reacts extremely well to plant training, so we do recommend this cultivar for more experienced growers.
Indoor
Papaya Feminized is a beautiful lady who will really express herself once flowering begins, with a heavy set of pistils that mature into a luminous, hypnotic orange. She will stand out from the rest in the garden, expressing hybrid vigor and an array of beautiful colors. Thanks to her indica and sativa heritage, she will stay short in the growing phase, and stretch a small amount once flowered, making her a medium-sized plant perfect for those with limited height.
Outdoor
Outdoors, Papaya seeds will stay short and like to keep a low profile, meaning a bushy growth structure with many side branches. With training, she can become very dense and bushy, however once flowering starts, will only stretch a small amount, making her ideal for those who want to keep a stealth outdoor garden. Certain phenotypes will finish faster than others, but will require a full 11 weeks in some cases, so we recommended this strain to growers who experience hot and tropical weather like California or Spain.
Fungal resistance
Thanks to her blend of indica and sativa genetics, Papaya cannabis seeds will produce strong and resilient plants that are very well at dealing with heat stress. This hybrid can endure drought conditions and is very resistant to heavy mountainous winds.
Flowering time
Indoor
Under HID lighting, depending on the phenotype, plants will require 63 to 77 days. The pot size, light intensity and amount of nutrients can also make a difference in how quickly some plants will be ready for harvest.
Outdoor
It is best to plant Papaya seeds in Spring time around May. Harvest time will be the end of October in most cases, however depending on the climate flowering time will be 9-11 weeks. For the best results, it is advised to keep the plants in a South-facing location.
Yield
Indoor
Yields can reach 450 g/m² (1.5 oz per square foot) when grown in a Sea of Green, where they will produce big buds dripping in trichomes. We encourage plant training to increase yields further and to train through a screen.
Outdoor
Outdoors in a hot climate, yields of 500 grams (17.5 oz) per plant can be achieved.
Plant height & structure
Papaya seeds are medium-sized plants that express an indica dominance, meaning they have short internodal spacing, one main central cola and a high number of side branches. Her final height will range from 90-120 cm (35-47 inches) tall, making her a great choice for anyone who is limited with growing space.
Training
It is advised to let the plants grow in a vegetative state for longer, and to train the plants.
Topping, tying down and pruning will all have a big impact on the canopy and final yield when growing Papaya Feminized indoor or outdoor.
Smell, taste, and effect
The best way to describe her aroma is to imagine a fruit cocktail combined with sweet fruity syrup with a touch of pepper and flowers. Her smell is off the charts and when smoking a joint of Papaya. The taste is rich, powerful, and similar to a smokey, creamy, fresh fruit and spice combination.
Wonderfully complex and long-lasting flavors make her a delight to smoke, and the extracts and hash she makes to be award-winning standard.
Her effects are a pleasant mixture of cerebral and physical, making her one of the best daytime smokes you can grow. At first, the high is clear, focused and energized, shortly followed by a mild physical buzz that is not overwhelming or sleepy.
Papaya is a great way to kick-start the day along with a fruit smoothie, and a long to-do list to work through. Accompanied by the upbeat, clear minded and focused effect, she is ideal for social scenarios and busy professionals.
Well recommended to smokers who enjoy well-balanced effects for morning and daytime use.

So I absolutely hate the nose on this strain and funny thing is you can smell it across the garden haha.. Makes a great cold cure and finishes fast. Not a favorite personally but the genetics and the plant are as always, top shelf🤙
I grew from a clone and the first finished a few days early but the second one looks like it's ready at 53 days. Awesome
Love this one. Just bought another batch. A great daily smoke
I love this one. I've bought it many times. Always gives good buds
My first time shopping with Nirvana lots of strains to choose from very helpful customer service I will definitely return.
Papaya superb,, actually I'm gonna be ordering more Papaya... Did outdoors in 2024 last year in 7gal fab pots... Nice squat stature, topped,, grew very well... Yeah, she is kinda Diva at times but once you give her what she needs....,, she'll hav some nice quality Flowers... Gonna order Papaya & This run will be indoors by mid Sept.....
I grew this one many years ago. I only grew one plant, so can't comment on different phenotypes, but, the one I had grew short, strong and sturdy and was super stinky. It was in a greenhouse and was actually easy to care for. The thing with this variety is the amazing aroma and taste. It's called papaya, but my one was pure mango flavour, much more 'mango' than the 'mango' that was going around at that time. I'll never forget the flavour of that pheno I had. I'm really happy that Nirvana have kept this one in their bank. This would be great for breeding, the terpene profile is really special. It says hard to grow for beginners, but I found it pretty easy, I was a beginner then and it was a pleasure to grow. Give this a try. Just be warned that it could be very loud when growing drying etc. Very special. I'll be getting more soon. Thanks to Nirvana, the best seedbank.
19 out of 20!! Up and growing!
10+ years and you guys never disappoint 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️ Thank you 🙏🏻
Great service prompt delivery thank you
Hands down best strain for taste, pain,Nausea, insomnia
Excellent short stocky plant. Really hard to damage her. 600 watt light with goof air exchange 800 ppm feedings every 4th watering. Deleaf big fan leafs and spread out with stakes . 5 gallon fabric pots.water only if really needs too. Do not over water.
Then do not check on her all the time just leave her alone.
Excellent taste and feel. I over mature mine with lots of amber. Do not harvest early and waste your electrical bill and time . Be patient.
Super choix, une odeur substile tropicale, bon rendement. Une de mes weed préférée, on ne peut pas se tromper avec de la papaya!
Simply a good plant to have a mother of. What more is there to say.
easy to grow , 4 from 5 seeds germinated ,i kept the 2 best , one was very dark green & the other light green ,odorless in veg , in flower the smell changed often,at first a sweet almost fruity odor, then later a skunky smell mixed into the fruityness ,at harvest time the smell was of over ripe fruit with a pungent skunky mix ,very potent, but focused stoned. After harvest I reveged the dark green plant ,it responded very fast after 7 days their was signs of new growth after 2 weeks there were small branchs growing all over ,now shes huge & back in flower and some what more pungent......NAMASTE AND PEACE from
the SOMBRE REPTILE
Super happy with the results from this
I was surprised by this pheno, clearly Indica dominant with her large leafs, short structure. She tasted very good with a clear sugar and fruity aroma. I greatly recommend this pheno !
Love the papaya smell. Popular with everybody.
One of the prettiest plants I've ever watched grow did a sprog and got about 500 grams out of a 4 x 4
This one is ok did ok probably had it in too much shade so can’t say too much about growth
This was a joy to grow. A nice producer with tight, fruity buds. A personal favorite. I am ordering these again.
This plant is Amazonian. It loves to be, hot, dry and a good breeze.
Heavy yielding and massively potent. Too potent for me - it makes me paranoid. But if you want potency, this kicks ass every time. Four stars out of five, because man, it just gets me TOO high. Flavor is spicy/earthy, nothing too distinctive but also not unpleasant.
Nice sweet smelling nugs, smell almost like papaya! Recommend!
Second time with these, nice big girls, that smell sweet fruity, i wish they were stronger though, only downside...
Only 2 cracked
Is what it is
