Skunk #1 Feminized
This old-school legend is still ticking all the boxes when it comes to flavor, potency, yields, and resistance. A true reflection of the genetic pioneering done during the 1970s.
Feminized Skunk #1 seeds are one of the original old school varieties that made its way to Europe in the 1980s. A very tough and highly resilient hybrid, that is easy to grow, highly productive, taking only 56-60 days to flower. Make sure your carbon filters are working extra hard when growing this lady indoors.
Growing
A three-way hybrid dating back as far as the 1970s consisting of Afghani, Mexican, and Colombian genetics. One of the original breeding blocks of the early days and a blast from the past.
Skunk #1 Feminized performs incredibly well outdoors and has a high resistance to cold climates and pathogens. You can expect true hybrid vigor from this cross and for her to display the most desirable traits for the parental lineage.
Indoor
When growing, this hybrid will display more of her sativa influence, with medium-sized intermodal branching. We recommend training this girl up over the vegetative period, as she can grow massive.
Skunk #1 Feminized is a low maintenance strain, making her ideal for beginner growers, as well as commercial growers looking for big yields.
Once flowering begins, this lady can stretch to a height between 120-150 cm (47-59 inches) with a stocky appearance. THC levels are 15%-20%, making her effects well-balanced and perfectly suited for smokers with a lower tolerance.
Outdoor
Outdoors, this cultivar will stay short and squat and stretch with a chunky appearance. Plants will grow as tall as 150 cm (59 inches) in some cases and will require a full 60 days of flowering before harvest.
Depending on the climate, some plants may finish in 8 weeks and can be harvested in the middle of October. Skunk #1 does not require a lot of maintenance or support.
Fungal resistance
Skunk #1 has a high resilience to pathogens as well as insects. She can endure cold temperatures and does not suffer from powdery mildew like some other plants. A great choice for growing in the countryside or high up in a mountainous region.
Flowering time
Indoor
A quick finisher that needs 56-60 days of flowering before plants can be harvested. Some phenotypes may even finish within 50 days, with the most productive needing a week more. Skunk #1 can take a high E.C, meaning she enjoys a large amount of nutrient solution.
Outdoor
Growers who live in a tropical climate will get incredible results with Skunk #1 as she can take the hot weather and cold nights with ease. Flowering time will take 7-9 weeks and when planted in Spring will be ready in mid-October.
Yield
Indoor
Yields of 500 g/m² (1.6 oz per square foot) can be expected when grown in a Sea of Green. She has a very distinct aroma that is pungent, dank, and reminiscent of a Skunk spray, so be careful when flowering indoors as well as drying out.
Outdoor
Outdoors, Skunk #1 can produce up to 750 grams (26.5 oz) per plant under the right conditions. We advise plating as a Sea of Green or in a large-sized container or directly into the ground.
Plant height & structure
This hybrid produces huge-sized nugs, that have a chunky appearance with maroon-brown hairs, with a prolific resin profile, meaning this cultivar is a good choice for hash makers. A fast flowering strain that will finish at a medium height of 100-120 cm (39-42 inches).
It is possible to finish plants between 60-80 cm (23-31 inches) tall when grown in a Sea of Green with small pots such as 7.5-10 liters (2 gallons). The buds will be tight, compact, and have a light green hue wrapped with bright orange hairs.
Training
We recommend topping the plants early in the vegetative stage to create a top canopy that has many main colas. Plant height can be easily controlled, making Skunk #1 a great strain for limited height indoors or outdoors.
Smell, taste and effect
Her flavors are much sweeter than her aroma and can be described as pungent, deep earth, dank, with soft citrus overtones. As the buds cure, there is more of a lemon bleach aroma that comes through with a strong earthy base.
Growers who enjoy fruity, floral, and earthy terpenes will really benefit from this cultivar. Skunk #1 is a very pungent and loud, so be careful when carrying this flower around in public and make sure she is airtight or triple bagged.
Skunk #1 Feminized has a powerful, long-lasting, mind-bending effect that mellows out into a relaxed physical state. She will express her genetic background perfectly with indica and sativa traits, making her a wise choice for those who enjoy a racy, mentally sharp, thought-provoking high that can be enjoyed all day without feelings of tiredness.
Hash and extracts made from this strain will be more potent and should really be consumed in the evening times, or when you have nothing to do and ready to put your feet up for the night.

I just harvested 5 of my Skunk plants cuz they were so ready & it's only mid- Sept. I have 9 more getting ripe and more potent by the minute. These plants do reek, a pungent fragrance that permeates the area and I worry about the neighbors complaining. I don't smell any skunk though, it's more like a sweet-sour candy dipped in Yak urine & the fragrance is orgasmic. Most plants are about 5' tall & never topped and a few got to 7'. I had picked an early bud to sample and holy moly, it was an extreme head high and a body buzz that put me on the couch with my mouth open and a stupid bewildered look on my face and I cud barely move for hours, and the best part was, it was a true mindless bliss. I got the 10+10 special and because of a cold spring and my dog eating some I ended up with 14 awesome specimens. I'm expecting over 10-15 pounds cuz the buds are large and dense and frosted like no tomorrow. They did really well in the extreme heat of Central California that sometimes got up to 114 degrees and averaged 104. I also purchased the Blue Dream and Maui seed specials, and they are frikn huge & tons of buds in bloom and I expect a record harvest. I've had these seeds for a little while and decided to finally leave a review. This is some really good weed. A good cerebral high, and high yield. It's definitely in my top strains now.
The plant after curing picks up a sharp skunk smell. It doesn't fill the room. Smoking this thing is a blast from the past, the buzz is definitely old school.
The skunk smell is hardly noticeable. I grew in organic living soil. Now the buzz, that's true to old school skunk form. Will try growing in hydro next. Would definitely recommend.
Got this with dreams of the old raunchy skunk of 40 years ago. I grew this in living soil, vegged outside., flowered inside. This plant was easy to grow, very low maintenance. The buds are super sticky, faint skunk smell. The buzz is very close to the old school style. This is a keeper and good one to grow. Will play around with increasing that skunk smell. The buzz ,when in effect is a mind bender and body buzz. Really happy with this purchase,will buy again.
These plants were fantastic. Averaged 4 pounds per plant on the outdoor grow.

Sympa à faire pousser mais elle n'est pas aussi travaillée que les weed modernes! La saveur est très cheesy, gout fromage et elle est donc très différente des weed aux saveurs sucrées à la mode. ça permet d'avoir une weed très différente des autres et de faire un voyage dans le temps et apprécier tout le travail accompli aujourd'hui. This is our first time with Skunk. We are still in the veg stage and things are looking great. We couldn't be happier with the results so far.
I am glad I have a 8 ft privacy fence as this would be a problem...for them if they went over. This is a fragrant plant and smooth smoking. I never go wrong with Nirvana and the strains are something to write home about.15+ years and I always receive my product, not the excuses, and then yes they are all viable.

Skunk #1 like your super skunk is a beautiful plant, low leaf to bud ratio with tight colorful colas. The taste wasn’t skunky but more of a nutty fruity neutral creamy smoke that expands slowly and is smooth, reminds me of a northern lights pheno. The cured jar look and feel is glistening hard sticky buds. I smoked it till it was gone, 60 grams under a hlg65.

just planted outside havn't popped up yet they all but one spouted tap roots in wet paper towel. so just getting started with them as the weather has finally warmed up for them. will update later.so far id say 4 stars because one did not germinate.
Well im the guy who said worst grow ever,just harvested second batch that they sent to me,,now i believe it was bad seeds, replacement seeds were the shit,,strong skunk odor , if you stealth grow you may want to opt for a lesser smelling plant,,my neighbors a block away could smell my harvest,huge improvement over first batch of seeds,i really apreciate the awesome customer service ,,i WILL USE NIRVANA again and again,
I ordered these seed right after the first of the year, 2021. I started my germination on 3/21-2021. All 10 seeds germinated and are doing great so far. In my opinion, and I have purchased seeds from several seed banks, Nirvana is one of the best.

While I have no experience with blooming Skunk 1, I'm pleased with the results so far in vegetation. All seeds germinated. Plants will be finished outdoors.

This is my 1st order of Skunk 1. I'm pleased with what I've seen so far in vegetation. It took less than 1 week via FedEx to receive seeds in Michigan, USA with no signature required. Germination is almost always 100% after folding a wet paper towel over the seed and place it inside a baggie to retain the moisture.

Grew almost exactly like I remember. Excellent side branching, chunky/solid nugs and a very distinct smell.
