A four way hybrid created by the breeders at Nirvana, that is a cross of Colombian Gold x Thai x Mexican x Afghani. By crossing land race varieties, we were able to create a hybrid strain that has a strong resistance to wind, cold, and plant disease thanks to her Afghani heritage.

AK-48 will produce excellent results outdoors and is ideal for growing in colder climates and growers who experience short summers. Expect true hybrid vigor to be on display and a cultivar that brings out the most desirable traits from the parents.

Indoor
AK-48 is a short and stout plant, meaning she will flower with a medium plant height of around 120 cm (47 inches). Her growth structure will be uniform with one main central cola with strong side branching, making AK-48 perfect for Sea of Green and SCROG.

Flowering time will range from 7-9 weeks depending on phenotype, which means this lady is a great choice for those looking for a quick turn around or a commercial crop rotation.

Outdoor
AK-48 seeds are highly recommended for growers who experience short Summers. Outdoors, this strain will grow with a bushy structure that showcases her mix of indica and sativa genetics. An effortless to grow plant that does not require much maintaining and can endure hot weather with no issues.

We advise keeping the plants South-facing for best results, and expect some phenotypes to finish as quickly as 50 days!

Indoor
Some phenotypes can finish flowering and be fully mature within 50 days, whilst others may require 63 days. AK-48 Feminized seeds grown in bigger pots and vegetated longer will take more time, however planting in a SOG set up using 7.5 or 10 liter (2 gallon) pots will reduce flowering time further.

Outdoor
Depending on the climate, most plants will require 7 to 9 weeks. We advise planting outdoors in April time and to harvest between the final weeks of October.

Yield

Indoor
AK-48 is a very productive plant for such a short and bushy cultivar, and will reward you with yields of 500 g/m² (1.6 oz/sq ft). With training such as LST and Topping, it is possible to enhance production levels even further.

Outdoor
Yields of 750 grams (26.5 oz) per plant can easily be achieved under the right conditions. Growers who live in a hot climate will be able to get the most out of this hybrid.
